NOTICES TO OPERATORS:
The vessel is fitted with pre-calibrated engines, just turn them on and the they will handle the rest.

High Power / Idle Power
When the engines start up, they will be in high power mode, this consumes more fuel but generates more power, enable idle mode to drastically reduce fuel consumption at the cost of power generation. It is recommended when moored during operation to run the vessel with one engine at idle to prevent blackout.

Startup
Either on the bridge or in the engine room, turn the "Starter Key / Remote Starter Key" to spool up the i12 Marine Boxer engines, the switch on the bridge remotely activates both engines at once. Each engine is fitted with an idle mode switch which reduces fuel consumption at the cost of reduced power output.

DESCRIPTION:
The Type 63's primary function is geological research and exploration, however its able to carry up to 2 ISO containers, one on its rear cargo platform and another in the forward cargo hold. Fitted with rails for skid cargo, the Matsumi's ability to haul loads and passengers allows it to reach beyond its original design into other functions like trade and touring.

The Type 63 has two crew quarters rooms each able to bed 4 crew with space for storing your default flashlight and binoculars, any additional wearable's you might be wearing and even comes with warm weather clothing. Other gear the Matsumi comes equipped with include diving gear for both deep and shallow water ops, underwater welding equipment and a pair of functional Intensive Care Unit's (ICU's) for the transport of critically injured persons over long trips, able to bed 4 patients in total.

To aid in away party operations, the Type 63 also carries the electric Type 06 Shiiba RHIB. The Shiiba is entirely electric and has a short range, intended for use as an away boat, not an independent craft.

The Matsumi carries a massive quantity of fuel in its primary and auxiliary tanks, making the vessel quite heavy. The Matsumi can sail in storms but its not equipped with storm survival systems like stabilisers or up-righting booms. As such, take care in dangerous weather, sail smart and follow the waves.
