Telegraph System - Transmit/Receive

Description
This is a fully functional, simple to install wireless telegraph system that uses radios to transmit a simple composite signal.

The difference between this controller and others that I searched for on the workshop is that this system is audio friendly. Due to stormwork's coding, buzzers do not have a constant sound; i.e. when a button is pressed for a prolonged period of time, the buzzer will only make a short noise for about a fraction of second, until the audio clip has finished playing. This means that conveying both dits and dahs on a morse code signal is impossible. The way that stormworkers have solved this in the past is by simply using a light instead of a buzzer. personally, I believe it isn't the same as hearing the transmission.

I have solved this issue by reciprocating an on/off output when the radio recieves a composite signal, just above the tick rate of the game. This means that (although still audible as many fast dots) a buzzer can simulate short and long signals by spitting out a ton of sounds until the signal stops. The controller allows you to connect the signal to both a light and a buzzer and, in its current configuration, can still effectively communicate with most pre-existing morse code receivers and transmitters that still rely on a light as a stimulant.

For an accurate buzzer sound, use beep 2.
