.. is a performance focused addition to the Just Frackin' Work collection. A collection dedicated to creating a stable Frackin' Universe environment by digging through the many patches that patch patches and plethora of broken mods, so you don't need to.

If you have just stumbled upon this collection I strongly recommend starting at the base collection.


Please read entirely for best results, you may not necessarily need everything. Also note any mods claiming to utilise additional cores are complete cap and are not included.

I have been running the below performance mods only and have thus far maintained a steady 60fps with lows of 57fps in active areas. Obviously, mileage will vary depending on machine, additional mods you may chose to add and how many machines you're trying to cram into one single base.

1. Enhanced Storage Lite reduces the storage sizes of containers back to Vanilla. I know, I know... But many items have build scripts that very quickly cause container opening lags. You can still increase container sizes in-game at the Outpost (to 160 I believe)
   
2. Reasonable Food Stack will stack food (with the same decay time) together meaning those 8 potatoes having their decay timer updated every 10 seconds just became 1 potato every 10 seconds.
   
3. No Food Rot will completely disable the vanilla food rotting system. This completely eliminates the game running rot scripts every 10 seconds on the large quantity of foods you're likely carrying over extended play sessions. This one completely eliminated the stutter that happens every 10 seconds caused by the decay system. Yes, you will lose the food decay mechanic, but no stutter! Strongly recommend! - Remember to also add No Food Rot - Elithian Races as well for this one.

Added: Quest Manager Optimiser (FU). This mod fixes the input lags that become apparent when your quest list is around 25+ quests long (give or take depending on core speed). The vanilla quest manager is constantly checking for quest updates at unreasonable intervals and as such, there more quests you have, the slower the game becomes. If you have around 25+ish quests and have started to notice input lag, particularly a lethargic mouse pointer, this will help.

Added: Memory Leakless Pixel Printer. The vanilla printer, when full of scanned recipes has a bug that tanks performance once opened rendering practically unusable. The FU recipe patch makes the printer a little more expensive as the trade off is every recipe is available in the printer without the need to scan.

Added: Elithian Food Expansion increased stack size (I forgot it.. my bad)

The [Take & Close] button found within containers will be slightly cut off if Enhanced Storage Lite is used as the container is only 16 slots big in some cases. It's just a visual and does not affect functionality of either mod.
