Description
Kraken-Class Frigate
Price : 695 000
Weight 1297,3 metric ton
Max speed : 64 m/s (82 m/s with turbo ON)

"The Kraken is a frigate built by Atlas, it is designed for patrol and interception missions. It is equipped to spot enemies from greater distances than other ships and is equipped to intercept ships with two powerful tractor beams from which it is impossible to escape. The Kraken is designed to catch small and fast targets thanks to its great maneuverability and maximum speed."

IMPORTANT: These ships are brand new so do not hesitate to give your opinion so I can improve the ships according to your feedback. Don't hesitate to give ideas of ships to build in the style of Atlas, I would be happy to try to do it!

No, it's not that 2x1 pieces are more effective by themselves. But they become more effective, if cris-crossed with each other in a brick wall pattern. Just stacking them on top of each other yields little benefit. You have to create a weaving pattern.

Thanks for the feedback it's very to fix the design of my ships, I understand so 2x1 in armor is more effective, well I will start to replace the 1x1 on my ships in project then on those already posted.

Beautiful ship. Small reactors should probably be replaced by a single large one, as they produce triple batteries and are way more efficient. You also don't need that much power to fuel your limited offense and 2 shields. You should always aim to deplete your reactor fully, because energy is so expensive.
One more thing, seeing you seem to love armor: you should do armor weaving. Only use 2x1 pieces and set them up in a brick wall pattern (half of 1 bar blocking half of the one behind it). This can double your armors effectiveness, because to drill a hole one would have to destroy more blocks.
