Scarborough Rescue Service Vehicle Collection


The Ignis 6x6 is an offroad all round fire engine designed to deal with all kind of emergencies, from assisting with direct fire fighting to a passive tanker.

Startup
  1. - Ignition - ON
  2. - Headlights - ON
  3. - Parking brake - OFF
Monitor(Water cannon)
  1. - Enable monitor
  2. - Enable monitor pump
    Use up/down left/right axis to aim

Right that's what I mean. Now that there's air pressure in the game, running the pumps to expel water creates a vaccum in the tank and reduces the force with which water is shot out. The stream starts out strong, but as the vaccum builds, it becomes weaker and weaker. By pumping air into the tank to replace the water that's shot out, you can keep a stronger stream.

The tank is not intended to be pressurised. There was no such thing as pressure in tanks before the update

It seems that the fluid update broke this slightly. The pumps quickly lose power as the air pressure inside the water tank drops. Adding four large electric fluid pumps on the roof and running them to pump air from the outside into the tank as the truck pumps water helps keep high pressure. Not a pretty solution but it does seem to work.
