"The Behemoth is the Flagship of the manufacturer Atlas, this vessel was built as a demonstration of the engineering and construction capabilities of the brand. It is not a real ship made to be built on a production line but rather an experiment. Nevertheless, it is still possible to order this ship if you have the exorbitant amount of money that it costs. Its chassis is made from the fusion of two battleships and it is capable of fighting any size of ship and coming from any direction, the ship does not have any blind spot so even small and agile ships will be destroyed easily. Nevertheless it is extremely heavy and therefore slow so don't expect to travel with this ship but rather take it to an enemy station or fleet to obliterate it."

Hey, I really love your ships. They are not the min-max ship for this game but they looks really nice:)

Can I order another large ship from Atlas that is fitted with heavy lasers instead small lasers?

One thing I could suggest is for you to weave the armour on most of your ships, to make them even tougher to crack in general. Rows upon rows of normal armour blocks are not really that great at absorbing prolonged fire.

Is there a specific reason for using regular laser guns rather than heavy ones for many of your deisngs especially later game ones? What would you say is the reason, is it more cost effective or is the improvement of the heavy cannons not good enough? Or perhaps it simply could not fit while in the shape you would want your ship to take?

I love this ship. The idea of this bearing down on a fleet or station to watch them fail at all flanking attempts makes my heart happy.

One thing I always forget about my ships is to keep the butt strong.

I typically judge the effectiveness of a build in the context of cost-equivalent battles in creative mode. Can your ship or squad of ships within a given budget kill an enemy ship or squad with the same budget? If yes, then you're better at the game than them.

I confirm that it is a very slow ship but it was more of a fun ship that I wanted to make, I don't really expect people to build it but I will try to remove some armor and make it lighter for better speed. But I hope in the future if one day we can create our faction or there will be point defense missions I could really use this ship to defend a position.

Liking the engine layout and overall shape. Though with all that armor, this must be ungodly slow... and ungodly tough to crack. :) Though, because of its inefficiencies, that fact that it's a broadsider and its slow speed, it will likely lose vs an optimized design of equivalent cost. Still very beautiful.

Actually, this is giving me an idea. Not that it matters right now, since we only have career and creative in early access, but if we ever get a game mode like king of the hill or whatever, a slow and extremely tough ship with tons of armor throughout the ship, like this one, and with tons of long range weapons, could just sit in the capture zone and be an immovable and extremely tough brick, while other agile ships strike at anything that is engaged in combat with it.
