For the first time, you pick the teams! In Teams Edition, the Host player is presented with Four team options to choose from!

A good old-fashioned Free-For-All is still on the table, but now you can choose to partner with other clans throughout the map!


A six-player (or AI) Free-For-All (or Teams of Two)!

Four powerful Lore are unlocked from the start of the battle! With everyone on an even battleground, you'll leverage the strengths of your clan to achieve victory!

Your Thane bonus will require you to gain Military Experience to unlock! You'll need to conquer territory and defeat enemy players to acquire the title of Jarl!

Slay creeps to gain experience, and deny your opponents a chance to level up!

Thor's Wrath has struck the center of the battlegrounds! Conquer this area to gain Thor's favor and achieve victory for your clan!

You'll have to work with limited resources! Additional Houses, Military Camps, and Defense Towers cannot be constructed!

The clan of the Wolf is always on the hunt, with Pillage and Conqueror unlocked, the clan thrives while slaying both creeps and vikings. Not seeing their army should not bring you comfort, as Veiled Threats allows the clan to bide their time and amass a fortune before they strike.

The clan of the Eagle excels at clearing Draugr Camps with Monster Slayer unlocked, and their Hawks provide resources and defenses through Blood Eagle and Rapine. When Grif arrives, expect to see their wings over your (former) territory.

The clan of the Horse allows for a unique playstyle, as their Warchiefs' cost allows more freedom with Iron purchases and upgrades. Ancestral Influence allows them to quickly forge powerful relics that can turn the tide, and the combination of Volund Fire and Great Tower encourages crafting Tools and Weapons to protect your territory and play defensively.

The clan of the Bear utilizes Hibernation, Winter Festival and a resistance bonus from December to March to ensure that there's three months out of every year where you do not want to see their shields. Later in the game, their Jarl bonus and easy access to Fame makes them a force to be reckoned with.

The clan of the Snake begin the game quickly with both Black Market trading and a Young Signy. The Snake can harass their enemies early and often with Under Pressure, and gain power from any skirmish - regardless of the result - through Guerrilla Tactics.

The clan of the Kraken starts the game slower than most clans, but can make better use of their opening tile with Shallow Waters and the Fishery. If left alone, Endless Tide, Valhalla's Reinforcement and their Howl of the Sea Master Jarl bonus allows them unrivaled military power in the late game.
