The Company Fleet

Description
The Company is trying to make its mark in the galaxy. With its capable fleet The Company ventures out to conquer systems one by one.

Dusty
The Dusty is a close combat oriented starter ship. Prospective captains are introduced to The Company Fleet's close combat doctrine as soon as they are given a command of a ship. The Dusty is best used to quickly deliver raw firepower, chewing through enemy armor and destroying internals beneath.

Pebbles:
Simple triangle shaped and shielded, The Pebble can stand on its own againsts light vessels or to be used to flank larger vessels. Excellent escorts for capitals.

Pebbles V1
A sidegrade to the original Pebbles. The company needed to provide seasoned fleet commanders with more specialized ships. The Pebbles V1 removes the disurptors for more powered blasters. Specializing its role in flanking and targeting exposed parts.

Pebbles V2:
A heavier light vessel. After the first Pebbles itteration, The Company needed a heavier version to deal with increasing threats of rival entities. The Pebbles V2 was designed with heavier weapons and shields. Best acts as escorts for capitals or flankers, but can stand on its own against other light vessels.

Pebbles V3:
Tougher enemies needs bigger guns. The Pebbles V3 was stripped of its small weapons and fitted with a big deck cannon. Although it has a shield, its main defenses are its thick layer of armor and a flak battery to shoot down incoming projectiles. A portable factory allows it to produce its own ammo.

Pebbles V3-2DC
Sometimes a big gun is not sufficient. The Pebbles V3 was stripped of its flak and fitted with another big deck cannon. With no PD weapons, the vessel will have to rely solely on its heavy armor. The vessel is best used at close range, so it can quickly deliver it shells more accurately, digging deep into enemy armor.

Pebbles V3 Artillery:
The Company fleets main doctrine is close combat, but some situations calls out a more strategic long range approach. The Pebbles V3 was modified to fulfill the artilery role. Equipped with twin rail guns, the Pebbles V3 Artillery is able to snipe enemy vessels from range, acting as fire support for frontline ships. A portable factory allows it to produce its own ammo.

Rockies
Close combat brawler. The company once again emphasizes its close combat doctrine and designed a vessel that excels in close range. When engaging targets the Rockies can immediately boost to close the gap between its target and bombards it with cannon shells, agile enough to strafe and avoid direct frontal confrontations. (Redacted: The design was taken from an existing rival faction and expanded upon.)

Pebbles V5-4DC
The Pebbles V5 is a medium close combat brawler. It is able to close range gaps quickly and performs best at fights at near contact range. The Company ventures into deeper space was met with heavier resistance. To maintain a capable fleet the Pebbles V3 was upgraded to V5 to absorb more hits and to rain heavy shells on enemy armor. High burst damage but falters on sustained engagements. Pebbles V5-4DC Ammo Variant included, features forward ammo factories.

Rockies V2
The Rockies V2 is a medium close combat brawler. Upon meeting heavier opponents deeper into the galaxy, The Company upgraded the Rockies to V2. The Rockies V2 is better defended and able to dish out more shells on its targets, all while still having enough speed to close the range.

Pebbles V6-I
While The Company favors cannons in its fast close combat doctrine, at times battle drag on for longer periods. The Pebbles V6-I was designed to deliver sustained firepower indefinitely for those long combat situations. As fire support, it will disable shields with its disruptor and EMP armaments and drill into enemy heavy armor with its dual ion beams. When targeted, it can absorb enemy fire with its heavy frontal armor. The vessel also provides intel with increased sensor range and detection.

Pebbles V6-6DC
The cannon version of the Pebbles V6-I. Staying true to The Company Fleet, the ion weapons and EMP are replaced with deck cannons and nuke launchers to give this vessel hard hitting capabilities.

Pebbles V6-M
The Pebbles V6-M is a fire support vessel that bombards targets with missiles from range. Its numerous forward facing engines provides a significant reverse thrust needed to maintain maximum range. Equipped with sersor array, it takes advantage of its long range weapon systems. Experienced captains usually reverse thrust instead when traveling long distances. When this vessel was designed, it was met with heavy criticism and disdain as its violates The Company Fleet's close combat doctrine.

Pebbles V7-8DC
This vessel is the next generation in The Company Fleet's favoured combat doctrine, close range high burst damage and heavy armor. The Pebbles V7-8DC is close combat brawler, able to quickly come within contact range of its targets. Its heavy armament of eight deck cannons make short work of enemy heavy armor, quickly reaching and destroying internals of enemy vessels. The vessel is best used at close range, so it can quickly deliver its payload more accurately. Be aware, the vessel rear parts has little to no defenses, it is imperative to not expose that area to enemy fire. The Pebbles V7-8DC standard maneuver is to close in quickly and maintain contact range with its target, preferably on the enemy's side areas, to limit enemy counter maneuver.

Pebbles V8
The Pebbles V8 is a close combat brawler, able to manipulate its targets movements with its combat grade magnetic arrays. Deeper into the galaxy, faced with increased dangers, comes the need of a tougher vessel. The Pebbles V8 emphasizes The Company Fleet's close combat doctrine to the fullest, able to face the biggest and the meanest out there. The vessel takes control of engagements by using its magnetic arrays to keep enemy vessels close and to help maneuver it away from enemy frontal firepower, all while 14 deck cannons quickly pierce through enemy armor.

Pebbles V8-RG
This vessel is the peak advancement in The Company Fleet's favoured combat doctrine, close range high burst damage and heavy armor. The Pebbles V8-RG is mainly close combat brawler, despite its armaments of railguns. This variant removes the combat tractor arrays and 2 deck guns to install powerful quad railgun system, trading battlefield control for more firepower. The railgun systems allows it to drill even faster into enemy armor. This also enables the vessel to fulfil the role of a long range artillery, should the situation demands it. Pebbles V8-RG Sensors PD Variant included. This vessel is a variant of the Pebbles V8-RG. Equipped with sensors to take full advantage of its railguns. Point defenses at the back to deal with missiles.

Pebbles V8-I
This vessel is a prototype sidegrade of the Pebbles V8. Armed with ion arrays to maintain accurate sustained firepower. The ability to maintain firepower when the cannons falter over long engagements is a welcome addition. Though energy based weapons is still an unfavourable idea among the ranks of The Company Fleet. This vessel remains a niche necessity for those few who desire it.

Bedrock V1 V2 V3 V4
The Bedrock series are logistics vessels used to carry materials to support a battle fleet, also serves as personnel carriers to replace crew losses of combat ships. The various dangerous systems across the galaxy requires fleet commanders to push the limits of their fleet command capability. Such a force inevitably requires support ships to maintain combat ships in tip top conditions.

Note: Most ships has multiple edited roles enabled and power supply chains. So if you want to modify the ships yourself and some things aren't working, check the crew roles and crew squad orders in the crew tab, and power supply chains in the resources tab.

They might be outdated (2 years ago). But at the time of creation I played with it up to lvl 18 on grand admiral difficulty and they perform just fine.
