[2022.1] Auto Sub Lights Save/Load sub-mod

Only for use with old game versions

Requires: Auto Sub Lights
This sub-mod applies Auto Sub Lights Presets on save and load.

This mod will not break your saves. This mod can be safely removed.
All this mod does is make another file in the save game directory, with the same name as your save but a different file extension and put a 1 or a 2 in it.
That file gets deleted along with the save as long as this mod is running.

The reason this is a separate sub-mod is to keep Auto Sub Lights from requiring read-write permissions, which some users may not be comfortable with.

When this mod is used with the Auto White-Red-Blue Starts Enabled and/or Auto White-Red Starts Enabled set to true, if a saved setting exists, it will take precedence over these settings.

Yup that's Excel breaking it. Right Click->Format Cells...->change Category to Text.

I usually load the saving sub-mod after the main mod, but load order shouldn't make any difference.

That must be exactly what is going on bc excell is forcing it to go all caps and centered whenever I touch a setting in it. I will spend some more time fiddling with that thanks for pointing me in the right directions.
What is the appropriate mod load order for these two mods? Does it matter?

Check you log file, both mods have log calls and errors when they are talking to each other.

"setting auto white-red starts enabled to "True" is also having no effect for me."
This is likely due to Excel or whatever program you are using to edit changing the cell formatting, which is usually done by default.
It needs to be formatted as text, otherwise it breaks.

Also I have now realised that setting auto white-red starts enabled to "True" is also having no effect for me. So strange. I have cleared my folders and started a new career and the mod works for me, just not the startup functions.

I am unable to get the save/load submod to work. Even when running no other mods other than Custom actions, shared bundles for entities, and the community patch. Am I missing something? I do not see a second save file being created and the game doesn't remember my setting when i reload.

This is a problem in rough seas which can cause the ship to bob up and down through the transition level.
Should be fixed in the update I just released for the main mod.
