The Republic is the main governing body of Human space. Controlling the Republic is the Parliament, made up of representatives from all over the galaxy. Representation in the Parliament is based on population, making it so that some large and rich planets dominate the Parliament while sometimes entire sectors of planets have just one representative.

The military fleet of the Republic is the Navy. They patrol and protect the Republic from threats. Any well respected naval officer will uphold their oath, and fight for the republic until all means of defense are exhausted.

The Auxiliary is the Republic Navy's logistical backbone. The size and durability of a capital ship but more cargo and passenger space than any other Navy ship, the Auxiliary is used whenever the Navy needs large amounts of troops or cargo transported with a guarantee that they'll reach the destination.

The Auxiliary was built with modularity in mind, allowing the ship to be fitted for more cargo or bunk space depending on the mission. This modularity makes the ship rather expensive to build, therefore it is a rare sight to see.
