Flag Selector

Description
Mod allows for player to swap between political flag types for any country they are playing.

The Mod can be activated from the Journal -> Decisions menu, simply choose the type of flag you wish & it instantly appears in-game & on all your colonies also.

Mod adds:
Mod includes a Flag Swapper to change your nations flag, activated via the decisions menu.
104 historically accurate & ahistorical flags added. More coming.


Compatibility:
Other Mods... I have tried to make this mod as compatible as I can. It doesn't change game files, so it should not break others mods at least. Other flag mods should work fine with this is as it simply provides a mechanism to access all the game flags for that country.

If you have my Germania Mod, no need to get this mod, it has it built in & has exactly the same files & flags.


Fellow Mod'ers:
If you wish to use this mod to empower your own flag creations. Please feel free to use the selector mechanism, but not the flags. If you do use it, it would be good to leave the files as is, so that users do not end up with a dozen decisions to change the same flag.


*This mod does include fascist & Nazi flags that have Swastikas & Fasces on them. They can be changed via decisions.

Sorry for the two questions below - they are starting to script certain countries flags in certain conditions. These are beyond my ability to mod. So for now the mod worked with the vast majority of countries - but there are a few exceptions.

Playing as France and made the Legitimist Bourbon family win the Monarchical dispute, and now I have the Bourbon French flag as the national flag. When I try to use the mod and change the flag into the Republican France flag nothing happens, only the Communist flag and the Fascist flag option works and the flag changes, not the Republican/Democratic one.

Playing as Canada, for some stupid reason the base game gives the current flag as default but changes it to blue bars at the sides when you have parliament... like it currently does... and your mod can let me change to everything except the default. I dont see any option to enable the one flag I want. Would it be easier if the mod was just a single toggle that would cycle through all options?

I have all the DLC and I tested with DLC and no mod, and DLC and this mod only and noticed nothing broken or changed, not exactly sure if I was looking in the right areas but India/Nepal seems fine.

I dont have the new DLC... not rushing out to give Paradox money either. I would definitely appreciate it if you could try just this mod & the DLC & see if it happens... like truly "Just this mod" ;)

Hey! Sorry for delayed reply. When I ran this, it jumbled a bunch of provinces in India/Tibet. I was using other mods as well, but when i ran without this one everything was fine so I assum the issue came from this one. That being said, maybe it was a conflict with something else and not this on its own. It is a great mechanic though
