Description
Using an alien generator instead of a nuclear reactor, The Buntbarsch is one of the most advanced subs on Europa. Unfortunately, you have to find an Alien Energy Cell before you can use the generator. Till that, The Buntbarsch relies on her big battery array, highly power-efficient systems and a skilled crew between 2-4 members.

The heavy armed drone Zander can be used as escape pod, suicide drone or away team support and has an self-sealing hull.

I just realized the way I described was confusing. The Buntbarsch's built in suicide minisub starts out intersecting the main sub if you upgrade to one of the subs with a minisub during the campaign. It does not have this issue if you start with it docked or in the editor. Thankfully it doesn't do that if you lose and have to replace the minisub.

My workaround was using a save editor to add the ship and switching to it while in port. Made transferring all our items more complicated, but it worked out.

When I understand you right, you connected the Kleinbarsch Shuttle with the Buntbarsch in the editor? I think the issue is the docking port setting.

In the editor it is possible to force an specific docking port to be the main port. Without that I guess the game randomly decides to take the wrong one and everything gets messy.

I changed the top docking port of the Kleinbarsch to a forced main port and also changed the docking ports of all my other ships to enforce the right direction. So when you get the updates this issue is hopefully gone.

Came across these subs when looking for something with silent running. Started a multiplayer campaign in the Zwergbuntbarsch with the Kleinbarsch as my shuttle. When I went to transition to the Buntbarsch from lacking a medical fabricator, the shuttle started out spawned intersecting the sub. I haven't been able to figure out a solution to this, and the issue also happens with the Raubfisch and since the hatch is open the entire sub floods and sinks to the bottom.

Yes sorry, the constant leak was my own issue.

Thank you! I checked both issues and fixed the redock problem - but coudn't find the constant leak. I guess you mean the constant inflow in the little ballast tank, this is intended :)

The escape pod cant be left or redock with th ship
