Expanded Empire Roster (fight against power creep)

Description
This mod adds 7 new units to both help fill in a couple gaps in the imperial's roster, add some variety, and help deal with the power creep of more recent armies added to the franchise.

Halberds with shields- a halberd unit with slightly higher upkeep and a shield
Veteran Free Company- Modestly better in melee than regular free company units, but with very powerful, slow to reload blunderbuss ranged weapons.
Mastiffs- A canine unit for the empire.
Empire knights with a sword and shield rather than a lance, around about the same stats as black knights.
Grenade Lobber- Low powered artillery piece that can be unlocked at the ranged units building chain, instead of the artillery school. Relatively poor as far as artillery goes, but can actually hold its own in melee, and has vanguard deployment.
Imperial swordsmen- A much much tougher unit than the regular sword and shield unit, with slightly less men per unit.
Veteran Riflemen- A ranged unit with good range but extremely fragile.


May have slight balancing tweaks in the future, and possibly new units to be added later too.

Attempts to make each state troop unit visually distinct from the vanilla base pool, and also attempts to make more expensive/higher tier units more impressive and well armored looking to add a sense of progression with your army.

@TonySopranoChronicles Huh. I never noticed that. Should be easily fixed, if it is what I think it is. I'll take a look at it soon

I don't seem to be able to recruit any of these units as Gelt the rest of the lords seem fine though

Cool, guys. I'd say Deco's Expanded Rosters series are pretty well known, but it is indeed a fitting name for both mods and sounds like they can work together well

To be fair, the Empire edition was very recently added to his mod series, so that's not yet a "staple" in the series at this point (didn't check, but might easily been after you guys had already made/released this mod) but I'm not sure I've run many campaigns - and I have multiple thousand hours in WH2 & WH3 combined - where I didn't have at least 3 of his Expanded Roster mods turned on. Usage rate similar to Singe's Lord Skills compilation, doesn't get much better. Recommend to check Norsca, Greenskins and Beastmen when you get a chance!

Glad to see the (slightly confusing) naming isn't an issue for anybody involved either. Have fun in the name of Sigmar, guys. Happy subsciber here, still using both in tandem <3

@Decomposed yeah I took a look at your mod after. Besides halberds yeah. I'm still in the process of tinkering with the repeater unit right now. Since there's now a vanilla unit that more or less fulfills that role, mine will become more specialized. Hopefully still balanced.

Only the shielded halberds are common I just noticed, the rest are all unique.

@sigmars_disciple Yeah, I've never heard of Deco's mod, and the naming was totally accidental. I wasn't thinking too hard about the name of it.
The point of this mod was to add units that the empire doesn't have (at the time), mostly at the end of the roster where other armies have more elite units and the empire doesn't. It also has a few to help in early game such as the grenade lobber and mastiffs
