Description
MISSION BREFING
The Viper is a highly dangerous member of the "Black Venom
Organization" Or B.V.O.

We have been following who we believe is the Viper for a
while now to track as much information & proof as we can
before capture.

Curently we have a undercover team setup next to the
Viper's current hotel room that has beem listining and gahtering
info on him. We found out the "Viper" has possibly registerd
a deal for military grade weopons and explosives sometime
today. your mission is to stop this deal quietly. The exact
location is unknown but is likely to be near the hotel.

This is my firs time really messing with triggers and I have spent
a fair amount of time testing and messing with things but
bugs are sure to pop up somewhere. But a few things to note

"SPOILERS"

-Sometimes for some reason enemys will spawn more that
there sopposed to from the triggers during the waves

-Somtimes the civ AI that walk around get stuck in doors
(Also happens to the attackers during the waves)

-When the cops/backup show up they dont shoot untell
about 5s after being spawned in.

Any other bugs found please comment what they are and
i'll try and fix them.

Well that was unexpected. I sent in Crisis Troop (a mod) to extract the HVT. My guys made it out okay. I wish I could've said the same to the innocent civvies. My gameplay would've made a good storyline for novelists hahaha.

It was a good map. Now I have to re-play it to get a three star rating.

Map idea: needing to bring a marskman to a certain room so he can take out a HVT (I know we can't shoot the in-game HVT but I saw some people can modify some enemies to make them custom names).
So you'd have to go through a street, preferably undetected, enter a building and do your work, then extract.
That could be a 2-man team job, or more guys with two coordinated assaults.

@Dasha Glad you liked both versions of the map. And thank you for coming back to comment.

I think I will keep the map how it is currently since i kind of like having two ways the map can play out. If you have any ideas for a map that you think would be fun let me know. I think from now on my maps are going to try and be on the more realistic end with a few other things sprinkled in every now and then. But thank you for the feedback I really appreciate it.

Man that was awesome. I tried going straight for the HVT from the nort-east corner. I had some perimeter security guys in the north-west corner and... Things happened. Haha.

To be honest I love both version of the "story" unfolding. Going straight for the HVT indeed triggers backups, we could imagine that it's because someone called reinforcements. The cops showing up was also a big surprise

UPDATE IMPORTANT

I found a Major bug where the mission just ends as soon as you capture the HVT and doesnt activate any triggers to proceed the mission. But I am debating on keeping it or removing it because it almost makes sense. If you wanna help me out please read the spoiler comment.

How the mission was intended to go on is after catching the HVT there are waves of enemy's that charge at you and your supposed to fight your way through them to escape or wait for backup. But if you kill all the enemies before capturing the HVT the mission ends due to the game registering no enemies alive. This overall makes the mission pretty easy and short.

I am thinking about keeping it though because it kind of makes sense that if you kill all the enemies whose going to call in the waves of backup? But im still not 100% sure what I wanna do.

If some people could play through the map without killing the guys in the hotel room and just go and capture the HVT and let the map play out from there and come back and comment on what version of the map you like would be much much appreciated.

Thank you @Dasha and @teddyfish for the comments. I really tried and spent a good chunk of time to create a map that felt real and lived in. But overall tried to make something that felt kind of new and different from most of the other maps on the workshop. Because lately my maps haven't been doing to hot. I wanna get better though since map making for games has always been something I loved.

Love the story and how every civilian has a little description to them. 10/10 map.

I really liked this map. While it wasn't extremely challenging, it looked realistic, I can tell you took time to imagine and create the place, and have a story in your mind, as opposed to maps who just exist to have 4 guys fight an entire company of QRF guys in extremely weird rooms.
Okay, most of people don't play Door Kickers 2 for immersive stories, but I really like your map.
