Subaru Ascent

アセント（ASCENT）は、SUBARU（旧・富士重工業）が米国で製造・販売している大型SUVである。

販売面で低調であったため2014年で生産を終了した、スバル製SUVの中で最大であった「トライベッカ」の後継車種として2018年から販売を開始した。

スバルの市販車の中では最大サイズであり、トヨタの「ランドクルーザー」に匹敵するが、販売されている米国では中型に分類される。

スバルグローバルプラットフォームを採用し、新開発の2.4L水平対向4気筒直噴ターボエンジンを採用する。
このエンジンはトルク重視の設計で、馬力自体は、レヴォーグなどに搭載されている排気量の小さい2.0Lターボに劣る。

全車 X-MODE、アイサイト Ver.3が標準装備。

日本では販売されていないが、一部業者によって並行輸入が行われている。また、チリ等を始めとする一部の国ではエヴォルティス (EVOLTIS) の名で販売されている。
2022年8月11日にマイナーチェンジされた。

車名の由来は英語で「上昇、向上」を意味する「ascent」から。

Ascent (ASCENT) is a large SUV manufactured and sold in the United States by SUBARU (formerly Fuji Heavy Industries).

Sales began in 2018 as a successor model to the Tribeca, the largest Subaru SUV, which was discontinued in 2014 due to sluggish sales.

It is the largest Subaru car on the market, comparable to Toyota's "Land Cruiser", but in the United States where it is sold, it is classified as a medium size.

It adopts the Subaru global platform and adopts a newly developed 2.4L horizontally opposed 4-cylinder direct injection turbo engine.
This engine is designed to emphasize torque, and the horsepower itself is inferior to the small displacement 2.0L turbo installed in the Levorg.

All models are equipped with X-MODE and EyeSight Ver.3 as standard equipment.

Although it is not sold in Japan, parallel imports are being carried out by some traders. In some countries, such as Chile, it is sold under the name of EVOLTIS.
A minor change was made on August 11, 2022.

The name of the car comes from the English word "ascent," which means "rising, improving."
