OVERVIEW
Jean is a “hyper glass cannon” intentionally by design, you’ll find out she has similar floatiness to Pomme, not only that, her weight is 1.25. Given that she is floaty, has gravity techniques, and is from a game inspired off of shonen jump’s One Piece, its only natural that one of her main gimmicks is the Geppo (skywalk) technique! Geppo makes the standard airdodge into an airdash! The momentum kept from the dash allows Jean to reach extra heights easily, or quickly move in one direction, however it does NOT make her invincible, and as you expected Jean can only use it once before touching the ground.

MOVES
Immediately you’ll first feel like something’s bizarre with Jean and her moves. You’d be right, a lot of her moves aren't normal. So, lets quickly cover them!

Jab- This is a disjointed move that does 0 damage to any opponents, however any opponent to get caught in this move gets pulled to Jean! From there, Jean can cancel any action out of jab! Watch out though, as missing the move puts Jean in a rough position for a counterattack.

Ftilt- swing a sword at someone for some quick damage, then press the attack button again to bring out a second sword, and with both of them, throw out a slicing shockwave!

Utilt- Something tells me that the way her arm moves makes it so that projectiles could be reflected back to the sender, maybe you should go see for yourself?

Dash Attack- Jean quickly dashes forward, and on hit she strikes her opponent while lifting herself up! From here she can do aerials! A perfect combo starter!

Dair- This is Jean’s standard “dive kick” move, except if you land the sourspot it… knocks players upwards? Oh and landing the move at any point makes Jean bounce off her target, use this to extend combos when you can!

Bair- Jean rapidly spins with a sword in 1 direction, being able to hit opponents on both sides of her. Like Ftilt, pressing the attack button while this move is out makes Jean use her second sword, and attack everywhere around her! The bottom part of this move does send people downwards, so if you want to use it like that then go for it.

Ustrong- This move has Jean summon a meteor from the top of the screen. Don’t worry, it falls slowly! Use this move to set up good kills, or just poke someone from the top of the screen! Ustrong can also be used in the air, and has a grab hitbox when doing so!

Nspecial- This is Jean’s standard projectile move, decent range, decent damage. However it can be charged, and when so, Jean releases a strong projectile that sucks in nearby players with a devastating explosion!

Dspecial- Jean stabs one of her swords into the ground, generating a field of disrupted gravity! All players in the field take less damage, and more knockback. Not only that, all of Jean’s specials can interact with the field in some way, go see what they do!
Due to Jean leaving one of her swords in the ground in Dspecial, some of her moves are disabled. You can’t use 2 sword moves without 2 swords you know.
