gm_fork Optimized navmesh

This is an optimized navmesh for gm_fork. More specifically, this is the default navmesh for gm_fork after running it through StrawWagen's Navmesh Optimizer . It is NOT a handcrafted navmesh. Screenshots are of me using the optimizer and the results the optimizer gave me.

Why upload this as its own addon?
StrawWagen's Navmesh Optimizer is a great tool, however, it can still take an insanely long time to process larger, complex maps, as it still uses the nav_analyze command to fix certain spots. How long? Well I was curious about that, so I entered the command to run the tool, started a timer, went to bed, got up and did some chores, started playing a different game on my Xbox, and stopped the timer when I saw the map restart on my PC. In total it took 17 hours and 48 minutes for the navmesh optimizer to run its course, which is significantly longer than the couple minutes it usually takes on simpler maps. I like playing with the Zeta Players addon, I like gm_fork, and I figured it wouldn't be hard, but just take some time to run the optimizer it and upload the result to the workshop, so here we are!

Does this addon include the map?
No. See the "Required Items" section to the right to download the map.

Can you use this tool with (insert map name here) and upload that navmesh to the workshop?
No. If you have the time and processing power, you can download the tool yourself and run it on whatever map you want. Most smaller, simpler maps only take a few minutes.


I don't take ANY credit for the original map, the original navmesh, or StrawWagen's Navmesh Optimizer. I'm just a guy who just threw those all together and uploaded the resulting navmesh to the workshop to save people some time.
