The Foot Fleet (WIP)

Description
NOTE: these are older ships that are either opsolete or in need of upgrading. i have a new line of ships but they are currently only privately published for the time being.

"The Foot Fleet" is a battle fleet that is themed on The Foot Clan, the ninja clan lead by The Shredder (from TMNT in case you were born in a cave). The goal of the project is to construct a complete fleet with practicality and performance in mind. Each ship is designed from the inside out with function being at the forefront of the design. I do not add crew quarters, or brigs, or mess halls to any of the warships; seeing as how Space Engineers don't need to sleep or eat, and The Foot Clan does not take prisoners! None of the ships are named, as these are class ships, and each ship in action would be named individually. I will be posting each ship individually as well as in this complete package, with more detailed descriptions of each ship on their respective page. This is a work in progress and will be updated regularly.

Command Carrier:
Mass: ~20.1mil kg
Acceleration: 0.66 m/s^2
Dimensions: 222.5m x 67.5m x 60m
Download: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=293065531

The flagship of The Foot Clan. She is the largest ship in the fleet (as of yet), weighing in at over 20mil kg. Lightly armed and armored, she is not built for direct combat, and would be expected to be accompanied by an escort; however she can take some fire, and is well armored in her important parts. Very well equipped for long term missions, she includes everything you might need. Able to house many different craft, with an armored and enclosed fighter hanger, a utility hanger, a large landing/staging deck, and a gravity assisted launch system. Fairly simple to operate, all her moving systems are very stable and reliable. The gravity drive on her is quite strong and is only to be used in short bursts, otherwise you may damage some of the moving systems. "Non-Essential Systems" include: rear gravity generator, all assemblers, all refineries, and most of the lighting. "Blackout" will turn off ALL lights, some of which cannot be turned back on without reversing the blackout (or manually). Specific room switches will leave a few lights on.

Destroyer:
Mass: ~8.5mil kg
Acceleration: 1.06 m/s^2
Dimensions: ? x ? x ?
Download: Coming Soon!

The destroyer is ~8mil kg and can house 2 fighters in its small hanger/bay and it also has a rear landing area for arrivals or extra fighter storage. She has modest acceleration under its own power but has a small gravity drive to assist forward acceleration when its needed most (I find a slower acceleration is better for matching speed with targets, while the grav drive allows a quick boost when needed). Make sure to turn off "Non-Essential Systems" before using the gravity drive; it contains the rear crew gravity, as well as the assemblers and most of the lights. She has 2 medbays, 2 main bridge areas, 3 backup control rooms, 3 assemblers, and 2 docking ports for quick refuel and rearm. She has a decent turret array and boasts 6 rocket launcher broadsides, as well as 6 forward launchers, and 2 aft. All systems are tied together through redundant conveyors. No frills here, you wont be finding any giant hallways or empty rooms; all space utilized to best effect. She is tough as nails and is most effective as an escort or in a wolfpack setup.

Frigate:
Mass: ~4.1mil kg
Acceleration: 1.01 m/s^2
Dimensions: 42.5m x 45m x 85m
Download: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=307791284

Launching bombardment while turning quickly is not recommended! The forward "horns" will catch the explosives and/or rockets leading to catastrophic damage! Load the launchers manually through the inventory, they are on conveyors so this should be fairly simple (they are labeled "Launcher 1-3"). Recommend using explosives as ammunition, however stone or ore can be substituted. Aim with the laser site at the target, preferably somewhere the explosives can gather or be caught (pro tip: fire a short volley of rockets to create a breach or a dent/pocket). Press shortcut key #3 to launch ordinance, press #3 again to stop the launch sequence, wait a moment and fire a semi-long volley of rockets (CAUTION! the blast can follow the trail back to your ship!). It can be tricky but if done correctly, the rocket volley will detonate the launched explosives leading to EXTREME damage. Light armored vessels/stations will most likely be completely vaporized! She has a fairly strong grav drive which is unaffected by crew gravity, or the ordinance launching system.

Corvette:
Mass: ~2.1mil kg
Acceleration: 3.19 m/s^2
Dimensions: ? x ? x ?
Download: Coming Soon!

The corvette is the puma of the fleet. At ~2mil kg she is as compact as it can get while retaining its toughness. Like the destroyer she has somewhat slow accelleration under her own power, but unlike the destroyer, her grav drive is for combat. Used at best effect with dampeners ON; simply thrust forward and point where you want to go! No need to turn off anything. This thing will run circles around most other craft at full speed. Designed for a head on attack, her forward armor is 4 layers thick; dont let the glass fool you, as that is just a decoy cockpit. Somewhat lightly armed with 4 main turrets (2 of each), 4 aux turrets, and 4 forward rocket batteries, she is best used in support of larger craft or running with a pack of fighters. To enter the ship look under the rear landing gear.

Note: The Foot Fighters have been updated in their separate file, I still need to transfer them here. Their changes are minimal however, the included fighters have nearly identical performance. There still needs to be some updating to the older ships, they are a few updates behind.

Please leave any suggestions and report any issues you may have; and have fun ramming them into things! Those horns aren't for show!

"The Foot Fighters" are published, i will try to intergrate them into the fleet sometime today if at all possible. im excited to see how the update today will make this stuff obsolete!

it has frontal rockets (6 of them), i believe its under "forward rocket battery." i use them in the video when i go for the "killing blow" right before it crashed my game XD thanx for the feedback!

The destroyer is really cool, I like its shape and the view from the upper bridge (with its double layer of glass and old style window).
Only thing I would change is adding some frontal rocket launchers. I mean the turrets have more than enough firepower, but I enjoy having some guns that I can fire with the left mouse button.

the carrier im working on is much bigger than these two, complete with a fighter launch system, hanger doors and lift ect. gunna be pretty epic :D
