A retrofitted civilian heavy freighter, the Argo Class is often found acting as a command and control ship for large merchant fleets. With it's efficient FTL drives, massive cargo bays, mining lasers, and onboard factories, the Argo is capable of harvesting, producing, and transporting anything the fleet needs. Far from defenseless, the ship is equipped with a long-range sensor suite, point defenses, and has had six of it's cargo bays converted to missile bays; allowing the ship to provide long-range fire support if needed.
