LSG SSBC - All-In-One Faction Leadship [Cruiser] by SevenSins

Description
===========================================================================
The Ship was designed and build for the "LastStandGamers Subscriber Ship Building Contest".
===========================================================================

IMPORTANT INFORMATION! - This Ship is not completely finished yet! Up, Down, Side and Front Thrusters are still missing and I will fix that ASAP. I also decided to not color it yet because I want this to be a Faction Leadship so it's the assosiated Faction Leaders Job to paint it to match the actual Faction Colorshape.

I'm sorry for sending in a unfinished Ship but I wont be able to play SE the next few weeks and I still wanted to submit this to LSG's Community Contest because I've put lots of effort into this Ship :)

I decided to keep the Rotor Piston for theese 3 reasons:

1.) A single piston doesn't extends far enough to replace the current rotor-piston. I would have to add 3 pistons onto eachother what would be extremely buggy and damage the ship / destroy the cover while moving.

2.) The cover needs to "wobble" up and down a bit to be able to slide over the glass-dome. The rotor-piston works totally fine here while the pistons would slightly damage the glass on each extension and eventually brake it.

3.) In my opinion seing the rotor-piston turn through the opening above the Cockpit to slowly extend the cover looks so much more awesome then just a small 1x2 piston block extending/retracting. Also it would make the whole headpart above the Cockpit where the piston-rotor is located completely useless.

So I decided to keep it for this one and use Pistons for my subsequent builds.

Hope you can understand my decision :P

Could you post images of the updated version (pistons instead of rotors)?
SevenSins  [author] 1 Sep, 2014 @ 10:24am
First of All:
Unfortunately one of the last Updates has reset the "Velocity" of all Rotors ("Hangar Rotor" and "Hangar Lock") to 0 so you have to set it to any amount between 0 and 2.00.

Afterwards:
Open up the Control Terminal by Pressing [K] while pointing at any Display and find "Hangar Rotor". Klick on "Reverse" to open it.

After the Hangar Door is completely opened search for "Hangar Lock" and also click on "Reverse" (Make Sure all Landing Gears are unlocked before)

The Piston Controlled Cover should now get pushed forwards and "Lock" the Rotor Door.

Thats it. Ill have to fix that Problem and Update this Ship ASAP! ^^

Until then Good Luck! ;)

I have to ask a stupid question as I am one of those people who can fuck things up quite easily.
How do you open the hanger doors?
