To perform a VTOL take off:
1. Stage
2. Press 2 then 3 to configure the aircraft for VTOL
3. Press 4 to deploy the lifting fan blades
4. Throttle up to 50%, then slowly up to 75-80%
5.After gaining a reasonable amount of altitude, press 3 to configure the main engine for level flight, feathering the 4 key to control pitch.
6.Press 2 to close VTOL doors
7. An optional engine that improves level flight performance is toggled by the RCS key.
