Hemoglobin is the standard for vertebrates, and is obviously generally red
Hemocyanin is common in deep sea creatures such as crabs, and is blue when oxygenated.
Hemerythrin is found in some kinds of worms, and has a purple color when oxygenated
Additionally, hemolymph (analogous to blood for insects) is kind of yellow, and the crocodile icefish is unique in that it has white blood, due to having no oxygen carrying molecules in it's blood whatsoever. Their metabolism is so incredibly slow that the oxygen dissolved in their plasma is enough to keep them going.
Not trying to say you have to make your mod use these or anything. Just throwing them out there in case they give ya some ideas.
