Mars - Chryse Colles

The map is close to 1:1 scale, or at least that's what I attempted to calculate. The map is of Chryse Colles, along Shalbatana Vallis. Based on a heightmap of the area, though not originally of the best quality, so I had to fine tune it. Unlike my last Mars map that is vanilla, except for the Mass transit DLC, this map requires one map theme from the workshop. I tend to prefer to make as vanilla as possible maps, to keep them accessible to as many as possible. As for the lake-bed, I intentionally decided to not fill all of it up and fill the lands with lush forests. This is to give the impression of in-progress terraforming, with the terraforming having gotten the atmospheric pressure significantly up, air, some water etc.

Fun fact - The name Chryse Colles, essentially is a fancy way of saying "Golden Hills".
