SU-27 Flanker

History

The SU-27 was developed in the 1970s by the soviet union as an air superiority fighter, and its main adversarys are the the F-15 and f-16.

startup instructions

1. turn on avionics
   
2. Set Throttle to 0.30
   
3. Turn on 1 and 2 fuel
   
4. press 1 and 2 start and hold untill engine start.
   
5. release brake with 2 key

use instructions

weapons:
the weapon type defines what weapon will be released.

1 is utility
2 is fuel
3 are unguided bombs
4 are laser guided bombs
5 are gps guided bombs
6 is a rocket
7 is a rocket pod (which is fired with the rocket button)
8 is a laser guided missile
9 is a medium range radar guided missile
10 is a short Radar guided missile
11 is a Torpedo
12 is a Cannon/gunpod


the yellow bars show what pylons are loaded.
the cyan ones show which of those are the selected weapon type

warnings/indications:
the first red bar on the indicator indicates that your medium range missiles have locked a target.
the second red bar indicates that the short range missiles have locked a target.
the third bar is a radar warning (very primitive rwr)

sound indicators:

the high klaxosn alarm is a radar warning.
the high horn sound indicates that you have been locked by a radar / missile radar.
the low klaxon alarm means that the short range missile has a lock.
the low horn sound means that the medium range missiles have a lock.


Note: the lock indications(indicator and sound) are only active when a missile is selected
