Description
The ES Crab Mk II is the upgrade of EuroSpace's dedicated point defense corvette. With less armor and bigger engines to stay in formation, it mostly escorts larger ships in order to provide or assist with point defense, though can attack weakly defended craft as well. It aims to function with as few crew members as possible and while it is still less cost-effective than on-board point defense, it can be an affordable option for ships that cannot mount any PD themselves.

Speed: ~90m/s
Crew: 6
Price: ~119.000$

[Attention: The game currently has a missing feature where crew assignments are not copied along with loading the crew roles. That leads to broken ships. To work around, paste this ship in creative (do NOT create a grid first), then look at the assignments and memorize/take a screenshot. Then try to replicate assignments in career for a correctly working ship]

@MeAndMeVSU: This ship is only meant to be an escort for ships that don't have any PD of their own. Performing such a minor, but important, function means it has to be light on crew to be worth it, especially since fame is the main limiting factor in career and that in turn means it has to be very crew efficient. You make crew more efficient by giving them different roles and a single room of 6 people can only have a single role, while the 2rooms can obviously have 2.

It's very pretty. It looks like you have two 1x2 quarters next to each other. Any reason not to convert that into a 2x2? Seems like the same amount of space would be used with a door closer to the reactor. (I just got the game yesterday so perhaps it has better crew control to have them in separate rooms?)

It can be a bit confusing. When the demo launched I was disappointed to see that we seemingly couldn't access the new in-built ships. It was the same misunderstanding.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that you open a folder with the down arrow. thought if I select steam folder, it shows everything.

I can subscribe to my own workshop items just fine and find their folder in the workshop folder. All you have to do is click subscribe, head into the game, click the arrow next to the workshop folder to expand it and then search for the folder you just subscribed to,

Thx! It's just some added thruster-covers though. But yeah, I'll upload that sometime.

Looks pretty nice! I also noticed that upgraded Luxemburg in the 3rd picture. Perhaps something to come in the near future?
