Due to the previous purpose, the Cordway's hulls are extra tough, meaning it can withstand more of a beating than other submarines. It also retained the external cargo rack along with the container, so you will be able to carry more than enough supplies for your mission. Unfortunately, this is neither an attack nor exploration vessel. The entrance was not designed as an airlock, being placed in the ballast tank, and one top mounted Coilgun is what you will have to be content with.

Overall, it's a challenging, but unique submarine for an experienced and well-coordinated crew.
