Spektrum Flashy (original version)

After that one Audiosurf update broke Spektrum Fancy, but before I figured out how to fix it, I was in dire need of a replacement skin. Enter Spektrum Flashy, the sibling of Fancy that had spent too much time on my hard drive collecting dust. Unlike Fancy, it did not use the very specific effect that caused some skins to break after Dylan decided to push untested code, so it remained functional after that Audiosurf update.

I had subscribed to Flashy along with the other Spektrums back in their 2015 debut, but I was quickly smitten by Fancy and preferred it over the others. I've since figured out why Fancy stopped working, and I created a fix for it, but all those years of playing Flashy led to it really growing on me. It has now become my favorite, which in turn led to much despair and anguish when Mozzie updated Flashy and Flashy Plus in late 2020 with some significant changes that I did not like. Now, she did upload the previous version of Flashy Plus, but sadly, regular old Flashy was left forgotten. Luckily for me, however, paranoia has its benefits and I was able to recover the original Flashy skin from a backup of all my subscribed skins. This upload is that exact skin, as it was in October of 2016, when nights were cold and the world was new. The only changes are the description text, workshop banner, and name.
