Dark Bum got buffed, not nerfed. Lol. The new version is better and more interesting. It's still easily a Q4 item.
Abaddon is just really, really good, plain and simple. Dark Bum is an insanely strong utility item that vastly boosts your survivability on top of providing rare pickups, all practically for free. Also, both have legendary status, which is a small contributing factor aswell. They deserve Q4, maybe low Q4, but still Q4 nonetheless.
As for Book of Virtues, not only is it really strong on its own if you can keep the wisps up and has a ridiculous amount of powerful synergies, but it also increases angel room chance and makes angel rooms appear even after you've taken a devil deal. Both also contribute to bookworm. Easy Q4 items.
"Rock Bottom should be Q4 because it's effect is super good AT TIMES"
Yeah exactly. Rock Bottom is a quintessential combo item, one of the strongest in the game actually, but it doesn't do much on its own, and unlike most other combo items, it also doesn't even work when you find it after the item it synergizes with. It's Q3 for the same reason that 4.5 Volt, another item with ridiculous combo potential, is Q3.
However, bond is still situational and dependant on the game state and your health. It's like a way worse version of the sac room, given that you can't even come back to it after healing up in other rooms and that its rewards are luck-dependant. Not to mention the fact that most of the time you have to buy the bond itself in a devil deal. It is Q1.
Lil Dumpy is a sidegrade to Holy Mantle, with the upside being that it's infinitely reusable in one room and the downside being that it's not a complete negation of any type of damage (and that it doesn't contribute to Seraphim). Easily Q4, one of the strongest defensive items in the game.
