Introducing Day Number 02, the Tapir - Cargo Rover

- Lore -

"A day later and our transport has finally arrived to take us to Oxbow outpost. We've been told shes small, but pretty sturdy, and should manage the 20 hour trip fine. Unfortunately they only provided two passenger seats, so we've had to strap Greg to the solar panel, but alas, its better than dragging him on the back I suppose.

Him being up there does mean we have to keep stopping to recharge, and I swear that I can smell burning flesh, but he doesn't seem to mind, in fact on the contrary, he's been sleeping for 16 hours now. Anyway, enough rambling, tomorrow we should arrive and have a tour of our new home. Honestly, anything's better than the crap-box we started in but I wouldn't put anything past corp. Still, my hopes are high that it should be tolerable at least..."

You have pulled through, I've just been going over this years Advent calendar and have seen you have a 2022 and 2021 as well - then saw the below comment. You certainly have put in a lot of effort and all these builds are really really nice. Well done to you and all your cohorts.

I have to say its not awfully likely I'm afraid :(

The event is insanely hard to set up, and planning can go as far back as September in order to allow myself and Lunar time outside of work. Even adding more people to lighten the workload can end up backfiring if people can't finish their own sections or suddenly become unavailable.

That's not to say this is something that only we can do, I would love to see other creators who have more free time try the same thing with their own unique takes!

I hopes this will become a yearly tradition and we get the same treatment in dec 2023 again?

What happened to Greg? Inquiring minds want to know...

There's a mystery hinge on the side, though it's next to the Gatling. I'm guessing to be a ammo drum?

Myself and a few others have tested it and it works fine, I'd suggest lowered the wheel suspension so its at a better angle.

I meant the back of the Rover is longer then the Connector and at least with an Large Grid Connector, i couldnt get it to work
