The Gerald R. Ford class is a class of nuclear powered aircraft carriers constructed for the United States Navy. The class, with a planned total of ten ships, will replace the Navy's current carriers on a one-for-one basis, starting with the lead ship, Gerald R. Ford, replacing Enterprise (CVN-65), and then eventually taking the place of the existing Nimitz-class carriers. The new vessels have a hull similar to the Nimitz-class, but introduce technologies since developed with the CVN(X)/CVN-21 program,such as the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS), as well as other design features intended to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs, including sailing with smaller crews.This class of aircraft carriers is named after former US President Gerald R. Ford.The first ship of the class, CVN-78, was procured in 2008 and commissioned into service on 22 July 2017. The second ship of the class, John F. Kennedy (CVN-79), is expected to be commissioned into service in 2024.

Being the new star of American Fleet, the Gerald R. Ford class carrier used a large number of newest technology, which contains 3D computer-aided design, Advanced Arresting Gear landing system, Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System and more to empower her combat ability. This class carrier took advantage of more electric systems as well as more advanced radar so that the ship can achieve higher efficiency not only in operating ship herself but also to support planes. USN tried their best to enhance her.

After all, she is not only a advanced super carrier, but also the largest warship humanity ever built in history. The ship only took 999PCS in NA and she is completely MOD-FREE.

福特级航空母舰全名为杰拉尔德·R·福特级航空母舰（Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers），在其第一艘“福特”号（USS Gerald R. Ford）正式定名之前，本级航空母舰原本被称为CVN 21未来航母计划（CVN 21 Future Aircraft Carrier Program，其中“21”意指这是进入21世纪之后的第一个航母设计）本级航空母舰的第一艘“福特”号于2005年8月11日开工建造，2013年11月9日正式下水，2017年7月22日服役，2021年12月实现战斗准备就绪，是美国乃至全世界最大的航空母舰。本级航母计划在2058年之前建造10艘，取代尼米兹级成为美国海军舰队的新骨干。

福特号航母使用了大量新技术新设计，包括重新设计了舰体岛式上层建筑和飞行甲板布局，强调隐身性，动力装置更加高效，具有更强的发电能力，整体电力系统采用新型电力分配结构，采用电磁弹射，新的大功率一体化核反应堆；全电力化推进，有源相控阵雷达等关键性的舰用高科技 ，并且增加了船体的冗余设计用于未来的升级改造，航母的整体作战能力得到了大幅提升。

在NAVALART，这艘超级航母仅使用999件，同时也进行了必要的装修, 不需要任何模组。
