For a long time, I've been wanting Serana to use my follower horse (the one that spawns when you have a follower like Lydia, and Lydia rides the horse following you)- can you make Serana ride a horse?

What if someone made a horse texture that looked like a sprigan type of horse. So basically make the horse look like wood but also glow green in some places and have anterlers as the cherry on top. I think it would be an extremely popular mod if someone like you made it. Just saying.

I did get some amazing horse screenshots, which have been uploaded to Steam. :)

I just realized my horse's console ID is a mod horse. That may be the case, as Convienient Horses doesn't apply effects to my horse, except for the horse charge attack. I'll actually purchase a horse and see if that fixes it (I may tag the ID before purchasing to verify a vanilla horse).

@Goatroach, The ability to hit enemies from horses does not depend on the horse entierly, the horse only apply the animation for the attack, the actual attack depends on the weapon or magic as they have diffrent ranges on them.
I'm not sure but if i remember right, some horse armour mod have bugged it for me before, not sure why or how.

You can probably name the horse by creating a custom horse in the Creation Kit, but that's a hassle and asking for CTDs if you mess-up.

Question: I used to be able to hit enemies on the sides of my horse during mounted combat with a sword, but not anymore. I'm using a few horse mods, but I will apply yours to the end of the load order. Hopefully it may fix it. I can only hit enemies directly in front of my horse at the moment, so you can imagine how annoying that is when enemies always attack the side of the horse. If you know a fix, please let me know. I will report my findings after testing your mod. :)

That would be neat. Might be tricky to do that though, seeing as naming things other then yourself/Enchanted items isn't coded into the game.

If there's a way you could add the option of naming your horse I think you should include it. As you know when you buy a horse it calls it 'Joe's horse'. Even if you have to add it to the horses' name like 'Joe's horse Buttercup'. I don't use hores but seen quite a few vids where people wanted to name their horse.
