DIZZY'S DEADLY CAVERNS

I have went to the trouble of tweaking just about everything under the earth, this mod aims to make digging down a bit more deadly with stronger creatures being found closer to the surface, more exotic pets and less restrictions on when and where they will appear! If you dig down be prepared for a fight.

It is time to strike the earth!

* Deadlier creatures closer to the surface.
* Every Creature below the earth is trainable and tamable!
* Less biome restrictions on creature spawns.
* More deadly attacks and powers! ( Beware the acid! )

BIG update!
I have spent the last 24 hours going over every aspect of the mod with a fine comb.
Every creature has been touched up and made more interesting. Imps, Crundles and Reachers. oh my!

Change List

* Green Devourers now have acid attacks. ( Watch out! ) As their description says.
* Every Creature now has a full list of new attacks and interactions descriptions!
* A special new toxin for the cave crawler that drives your dwarves mad!
* Crundles now use their cute little horns to ram you!
* Every creature is now tamable with some effort.
* Every single cavern creature has been touched up and enhanced in some way.
* Reachers now latch with its limbs and wrestle you!
* Iv included the unique abilities that the descriptions of these creatures suggest but were never implemented.

There's far more but why spoil it all? If you want a deadlier depths and a reason to fear the dark, this mod is for you, its more than vanilla friendly, its vanilla enhanced! Lore friendly tweaks and changes to not only make the deep a little more dangerous but also more interesting, a more fun place to explore and experience.

Not sure if this mod still works or not, for whatever reason I can't get any of the changes to reflect in the arena.

Game loads fine and then crashes shortly after while using this mod :(

Trolls are also trainable I'm assuming? The interesting thing about them is they're sentient which last I remember if tamed would turn them into citizens.

Unfortunately intelligent creatures cannot be tamed, if i removed the intelligence they unfortunately would not be able to hold weapons and invade the way they currently do.

50.01 is the current version. It should say Deadly Deeps Version 4.

@Reddeh I actually have been noticing a shocking lack of cave creatures as well despite not even using my own mod or only altering the core vanilla raws...I feel like something more is going on here unrelated to my mod. Cave fauna have either been drastically reduced in premium or are currently bugged out in the latest version, or we are just unlucky. Keep digging down and see if that changes.

I can promise you however this is a deceptively simple mod, it honestly shouldnt cause any issues. I dont even use the mod in my own games and iv noticed this same issue.

I know that the most recent update has some wealth glitches and people are reporting a lack of invaders or attackers like werebeasts and forgotten beasts, so just hold tight and see what happens, it might just be an issue with the way Toady has programmed the difficulty scaling.

Any suggestions for what order to load this mod in and how to easily check that it's working?

Not sure if this is me not loading the mods in the correct order but Installed this mod and the only have creatures I have seen so far have been cave vermin or invading native animal men and a single war jabberer they brought with them.
I also have a mod that makes the cave spider bite syndrome recoverable instead of indefinite.
