Description
The ES Genf is the first ship to field an Ion Burst - an invention by EuroSpace Industries (others may have already posted ships that use it, but I was the first to come up with and refine it). The Ion Burst is capable of charging Ion Beam damage up to 4 times of the original input and discharge the stored energy in a short burst of ~2 seconds (max. 303.000,- dmg per burst in this case). It is thus able to inflict tremendous damage within a short time frame, overwhelming even strong shield setups and melting through entire ships within mere moments. To protect the highly volatile prism-loop (and I mean highly - if a charged prism explodes, you're dead) the ES Genf features a Shield Chamber with 4 large shields, several small shields and 24 point defense guns.

Leave a like, if you like. :)

Speed forward: ~82m/s
Speed reverse: ~60m/s
Crew: 200
Price: 1.694.000$

Instructions: (also found in the ship's description in game)
[INSTRUCTIONS:]
First tell group "8" to auto-fire their beams.

To charge, first press "4" to select all relevant-prisms (switches & loop-breakers). Then press the aim-prisms key (mine is "TAB" - nice and close to the number keys) and hold CTRL + click on the lower armor-diamond above the 2 touching prisms in the middle (the loop-feeders). The switch-prisms will direct their beam to the loop-feeders and the loop-breakers will close the loop.

Wait until the loop is sufficiently charged. Then tell group "3" to target the upper armor-diamond to discharge (do NOT hold CTRL for this, so they will properly snap to their original rotation).
Optionally in addition and after a few moments (to optimize damage during and after burst) tell group "5" to shoot straight ahead (into their outlets - do NOT hold CTRL for this) and do the same for group "6".

If the left or right outlets are blocked before bursting, tell only group "1" or "2" to aim at the upper armor-diamond.

[Attention: The game currently has a missing feature where crew assignments are not copied along with loading the crew roles. That leads to broken ships. To work around, paste this ship in creative (do NOT create a grid first), then look at the assignments and memorize/take a screenshot. Then try to replicate assignments in career for a correctly working ship]

Yes. Somewhat cryptic, I know. ^^

"lower armor-diamond above the 2 touching prisms in the middle"

Ok so I figured what it must be:
In the front there are 7 prisms placed in a V-Shape. Inside this V-Shape you can see 2 blue rhomboid-shaped bits of armor. Those 2 are the "lower" and "upper" "armor-diamonds"

Super neat idea!

Well, I did already make the All-in-one-bundle 2, but I only very rarely update it, because it's kind of a hassle to do it and it also just ADDS the new versions of the ships instead of REPLACING the old versions with them and I hate that. But it's here, if you want it... it's just gonna be perpetually outdated until Walt fixes how updating bundles of ships works:

can you make one mod containing all ships? i love all of them but its cluttering my BP list quite a lot and i would love it to have all of these awesome ships within a single folder

The description is somewhat complicated. I will eventually make a newer and more useful version than this prototype where hopefully there will be less commands necessary to execute the burst.

great ship, had some trouble figuring out how to get the ions to target properly though.

the enemy ship in the pictures was having open heart surgery using your ship.

Chaos on a leash...a thin leash. ;) Good engineering.

Appreciate it, but don't expect much from my channel, except a video for a workshop item every now & then.
