Description

The fight for Alpha Halo begins, but you won't fight alone. Lead your marines to battle and discover its secrets.

Better With Friends is a campaign mod for Halo Combat Evolved in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The main goal is to allow allies to accompany the player for as much play time as possible while also realistically integrating them into the world and scenarios.

Currently the only levels available are The Silent Cartographer and Assault on the Control Room.

FEATURES

Marines accompany the player throughout the missions
A high focus on retaining vanilla gameplay
Reworked encounters
Scripted sequences
More friendly and enemy dropships
Vehicles driven by AI
Custom animations and cutscenes
Adjusted scenery and objects
Minor balance changes
Easter Eggs
Secret Legendary endings
Minor legacy bug fixes

KNOWN ISSUES

Players may experience desync or crashes when playing in coop
Marines may have trouble traversing certain areas and/or get stuck in tight spaces or on geometry
Vehicles driven by Marines may get stuck or refuse to move if they deviate too much from their intended path or get pushed by the player
The Silent Cartographer - After the Bravo 22 encounter the Marines on the hill will often fall off and die when trying to round the first corner on their way down
The Silent Cartographer - Enemies during the stealth section may continue patrolling and not do anything even after the player has been spotted
Assault on the Control Room - Players may experience a visual glitch consisting of flickering black lines during the Warthog ride section in the first canyon
Assault on the Control Room - Marines may sometimes refuse to get into Pelicans and have to be forcibly teleported into their seats

How the heck did you get the AI to drive Warthogs without crashing into everything. I remember dabbling with OG Halo Custom Edition years ago and could never quite figure out how to get AI to drive vehicles. Seems like it was just one of those things even the OG devs couldn't figure out at the time.

you should add a way for us to donate to you so we can fund you into completing the mod to work for all missions as this mod is awesome and adds sooo much character to all the marines

is there anyway you add this entirety to all the missions or even the other half of the game and the library would be a chaotic mission to install alot of marines

No se como activar el mod en esta campaña, por más que juego las campañas de los mapas habilitados, no sale nada del mod todo sigue normal (Alguien ayudeme)
