Introducing Day Number 09, the Windlance - Assault Frigate

"Today we stand, Earth's last line of defence against a federation who has no care for its citizens, no love for its culture, and no comprehension of our will to fight on. At Luna we stood a mere 61 vessels, far outnumbered, and with no way to communicate back to High Command what was happening across the system. Those left had to flee, hide, and try to wait out the unceasing and merciless violence of our foe. But now, we are reunited, with one last chance to put things back to how they were, before this madness began.

We were 61 then, but now, with Earth’s backing, we are over 700. They struck us while we were down, tried to take earth from us, but now we will show them the full might of a Sovereign Navy. The road to victory is long and unceasing, but the path is clear, and our hearts true; and once Luna is freed from the grasp of our opponent, we will take the fight to them, and end this once and for all.

Fear not for the outcome of this battle men, for no matter what results, they will know that Earth will always be a free people. They will know that we die before they take it. They will know that someone stood in their way and declared. No. More."
