I'm surprised I've never seen this mod looks great and I'm definitely going to check it out

Hey guys just a quick update.

I haven't played Democracy 4 in a long time and this mod kind of entered the back of mind over the last couple years. I've seen a few of you still have issues and I'm sorry I haven't been able to respond sooner.

I lost the original files and stupidly never uploaded them to the cloud. I am working out how to recover them through the workshop. If I am able to recover the files, I will release an update to address the issues I'm seeing here. If anyone has experience with recovering a lost mod through the workshop, please reach out to me here.

Maybe you could add some events and situations related to the Middle East and terrorism?

Sorry for the long hiatus in updating my review - I managed to get past the first election by solely focusing on highly popular policies (especially for highly-populated voter bases), and completely ignoring income (aside from some easy ones, like Helicopter Money and Quantitative Easing). I recommend, however, restarting until you start with a moderate amount of popularity, as starting too low seems to lock you into a defeat without extremely good luck.
Trubkosos 9 May, 2023 @ 5:33pm
I agree, there is a popularity issue
Abyssal Lord 18 Mar, 2023 @ 6:44am
Yeah, it seems to be almost impossible to get through the first election, as popularity just doesn't seem to increase very much - I'm going to try ignoring the starting debt situation entirely, starting as the US, and solely adding popular policies every quarter, then will post an update!

For reference, I was playing as Japan - it worked a bit better in the US, but was definitely much harder to raise voter perception!
