AI Arctic Warfare Magnum (L115A3) from CoD: Modern Warfare 3

The famous British/English sniper rifle series called "Arctic Warfare", true to name, is made to work under extreme conditions, and is adopted by numerous police and military units all over the world. The Magnum (or Super Magnum) model is chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum (or .338 Lapua Magnum respectively).


Named "L118A" in MW3 menus, "L118A3" on unlockable player emblems, "L96A1" in game files (and appeared previously in Black Ops under this name with a better model), and "weapon_awp" in classic Counter-Strike games, the poor AWM just doesn't seem to ever be named right in mainstream videogames, even if the devs are going for the British military designations. Ghosts had the more correct but less specific "L115" instead. The model mounts the same scope as the game's Mk. 14 EBR instead of a Schmidt & Bender scope that is more closely associated with the series, and it is always tan-finished regardless of the gun's camouflage. I couldn't get the base beige/olive skin, so I made it gray and applied the "Classic" camo complete with its scope. I also considered using the scope from the AS50 (which is a Schmidt & Bender), but it uses the gun's texture for its mount, which would bloat the mod size unnecessarily. Also, this scope model doesn't look bad and is great for variety's sake. Cele's animations don't show off the non-existent right side of the model, so it's a natural choice.
