Description
Called the spork because the forward lasers resemble the four tines or a spork, the spork class lives up to it's versatile starter ship for cosmoteers beginning their adventures in the galaxy.

I ran into the same problem when designing my Tick Class. I lessened the impact of that problem by telling the energy suppliers to prioritize supplying certain weapons over shields. But that can cause problems in other situations.

Yeah, i'm never quite sure what to do with crew assignments. I figured in that case that you'd probably be wanting to run away so having them prioritize shields would be ideal.

Oh really. Wow, that's great, that it inspired you so. And even greater that you're already this good at the game. According to my tests your Railgun ships are really good, while your close range ships could use more combat-efficiency (they often get "stunlocked" by focusing on replishing shields at the expense of weapons whole energy is then almost immediately drained).

Thank you. Your EuroSpace collection was a great inspiration for trying to put together a collection of ships. They all look wonderful and have an amazing shared aesthetic. Browsing the workshop, they were one of the things that convinced me to buy the game.

Ah I see. I've started doing tests against my EuroSpace collection. You're really a good ship designer - so far our designs are roughly equal in terms of cost-efficiency (though your Railgun ships are much better than my single one). Hats off.

Is that viable on standard difficulty starting budget, or only on easy?
