Let me know if you want to provide feedback on the new revision, have general interest in that rebalancing, or can assist with the issue of HE ammunition not properly working.

I am working on an update (will be a separate mod) that adds more types of ammunition: high velocity, low pressure (lower damage, lower recoil for mass-challenged platforms), etc.

Also drastically reducing the inventory capacity of the gun. Right now it can hold an incredible amount of ammunition, making it terrible for making point-defense gun-batteries.

Planning on adding high explosive ammunition too, but I am having trouble with it exploding in the gun barrel...

I don't know how to make one, but that is a very cool idea. Theoretically you can configure it to use the same model and make it large grid, but I am not aware how
