A trend that I frankly despise is that of modder intentionally mutilating their textures to be on the same dogwater level of the vanilla game.

unrelatedly I'll need to push and update to take off the color masks, directly patched the vanilla stuff colors to not look like shit instead in another mod

Can't change masking properties because it'd fuck with any restyles of the item. Game takes multiple bad default choices when it comes to item coloring.
