Hide and Seek! (Fixed! - 3/6/24)

Omschrijving
Play hide and seek in a large bedroom!
*Minigame is bot friendly, however it is not recommended!*

Win is determined by last player standing, or if the timer runs out!

Seeker MUST be chosen manually in the middle of the map. After 30 seconds, the Seeker will be released-- better find a spot quick!

Hiders receive a carrot, allowing them to gain a temporary speed boost. (Useful for a quick escape or to access hard-to-reach places!)

Seekers receive a laser gun that eliminates players within a short distance.

Have you tried combining "Wait - Random Between Two Values" with a moving platform? I just started trying to make my own mini game and I think that's what I'll try.

Unfortunately due to Pummel Party being updated often, it breaks the map creating lots of bugs and unintended issues. I'll fix it when I can, but blame the devs lol.

When my friends and I played our name tags showed up over our heads, and were visible through the walls. So hiding was pretty much useless. Is that normal?
We had 4 players and 4 bots.

@Jay I would LOVE to do something like that. Unfortunately Pummel Party doesn't really have any methods to "randomly" select players. I've tried so many methods and the only reliable ones are these:

Players manually deciding who is the Seeker by walking to a specific area.

OR

Spawning a large Trigger in the middle of the map so it randomly detects a player.

If they add an option like "Select Random Player" or some kind of dice rolling, I will happily add that!

Just an idea. Maybe do something like everyone rolls the dice and the first person to roll a multiple of 3 becomes the seeker. Something like that?

@Žiko I've just updated the map! There shouldn't be anymore Seeker bugs.

I've addressed the issue with multiple Seeker's being chosen. Until the devs add a function to randomly assign players to a position (or if I manage to find my own way) the map will require one player to become the Seeker in the middle of the map.

This is the only reliable way to only have one Seeker. My other method spawned in a prefab in the middle of the map and made it spin really fast, randomly hitting a player and teleporting them as the Seeker. Although it kinda works, it seems to collide with many players at the same time, resulting in multiple players being chosen as the Seeker.

So when we started all but one player spawned with seeker in his room. Other then that it is good map when it works

@captain brasco - Halloween update has been removed. Bugs have been fixed as well.
"Seeker Circle" has been removed and replaced with logic that randomly selects a Seeker.

please but back the old version it was one of the best game but halloween destroyed it
