Description
Historically accurate Commonwealth uniforms? No more annoying flamethrower bots that overpower the other bots? All weapon skin unlockables are unlocked? Access to the exclusive Elite Coop attachments such as the Thompson Drum Mag and the STEN Suppressor?


Yes, this is a mod that completely revamps the default theater files to fit my own preferences for practice mode, some of which for the sake of being a bit more historically accurate. For example, no more bots using flamethrowers in the Battle of the Bulge. No more Commonwealth wearing those historically inaccurate vanilla post-war shirts.

The mod also unlocks attachments restricted to Coop Elite classes such as the Thompson 50-round drum mag and the STEN “silencer”, available for all Practice game modes. Along with all weapon unlockables: brass knuckles, rifle cloth wraps, rifle veteran skins, entrenching tool, etc unlocked and available for use.


What’s New:
UNIVERSAL CHANGES
-Flamethrower bots are now defaulted with their factions’ standard issue rifles (Flamethrower is still available for player selection)
-All weapon unlocks: brass knuckles, cloth wraps, veteran skins, entrenching tool, etc are now unlocked and available for use.

COMMONWEALTH
-Commonwealth now wears longsleeved P37 battledress with correct webbing (no more US ammo pouches). Commonwealth Reworked is heavily recommended.
-Officer, Assault, and Support class now have access to the removed 50-round drum for Thompson M1928. Thompson Recolored is required as the game does not process the .vtf texture files for an unknown reason, as this mod has working textures for the drum.
-STEN MKV and MKII now have “silencer” suppressor weapon attachment
-No more Indian riflemen (except for 12th Frontier Force)
-Rifleman and Engineer wear backpacks (heavy gear)
-Support class now equipped with Webley sidearm.

WEHRMACHT
-Sniper class now wears Einheitsfeldmütze field cap (Generic, 1st, and 352 Infanterie Divisions)
-Engineer bot is default equipped with panzerfaust
-MG34 Support bot now has a sidearm and isn’t vulnerable when not mounted.

UNITED STATES
-Officer has access to M1928 Thompson (unfortunately no drum mag)
-Engineer bot is defaulted with M1 Garand instead of Springfield

Various Unit, Faction and Default Bot Spawn Changes to Maps
Some examples:
-Ortona will have Canadian bots against Fallschirmjagers (Like the real battle)

-Comacchio Offensive will have No 2. Commando bots attacking 29th and 15th Panzergrenadier Divisions (basically like the real battle)

-Crete Invasion has 1st and 3rd Fallschirmjager bots against 2/17th Australians and 12th Frontier Force Indians (Kinda like the real battle but Indians instead of Maori)

-Dog Red Offensive will have Commonwealth attacking (Like Gold Beach)
+Many more that I’m too lazy to list

Copy and paste the .vpk file into Steam\steamapps\common\dayofinfamy\doi\custom

-Fixed issue of other mods being disabled due to this one. Mods such as Gorlami's Custom POV should now be compatible as well as most other mods in the Steam Workshop that do not overwrite the default theater files. Custom theater mods such as Community Eastern Front/Ostfront or Born To Kill will still work with this installed.

How do you make the role take another role's weapon? Like in a mod the flamethrower takes a rifle such as 98k.

@dragon person That issue may be fixed now. It seems as though the name of the .vpk file not being "doi_misc_dir" was causing compatibility issues with certain mods for me as well. Hopefully it works for you now too :steamthumbsup:
