Sneeded Soil

Description

This is merely an very simple mod that allows you to 'construct' arable farmland with the intention of providing an ballanced acess to non-Hydroponic Plants one may not easily aquire!

While quite old by my modding standards, this mod kept being in my heart, especially now with the arrival of the 1.6 'Odyssey' DLC. Expect some changes and refinements within the future!

The year is 5500.
Humanity consists of mostly geneticly engineered, crack-dependant catgirls, which,
effectively mastered sublight space travel and are capable of producing brain chips that let you think like stephen-hawking.

However - due to the mandated usage of estrogen - the ability to to engage in any non-programming work has been lost, and thus - the ancient technique of moving dirt somewhere else has found it's end.

That was at least, untill one day, a shizophrenic autist bearing the name "Hyou" has spontainiously decided to come up with it again.

Sneeded soil starts where Tynan has stopped; with the ability to create your own.
Finally you can grow anything other than smelly coomshrooms in your mountain base!
That is should you have aquired the necessary technology for it...
Dont worry, even low-bob tribals are smart enough to do so! All you need is the knowledge to plant devilstrand and cocoa, meaning that your pawns have gained enough experience with agriculture to artificially fullfill growing conditions! Finaly, these researchs find an usage even on harder biomes!
Enjoy!

NOTE:

One tile of Sneeded soil will cost you 3 neurotamine and 3 steel, simulating the growth-enhancing chemicals and minerals found in fertilizers.

This means that buying neurotamine from traders is a way more interesting desicion, especially as tribal!
Note however, that unless you have some sort of tribal sunlamp/windows mod installed, this does not give much usage.

If you want to, sneeded soil can be placed on stone and does not blend in with artificial tiles like concrete, making it much more pleasing to look at for diagnosed autists like myself!

Sneeded soil has a fertility of 120%, which means that rich soil is still going to be better -
If not always available and or practical.

To supply one entire sunlamp with plantable, arable ground, you will have to cover exactly one hundred (100) tiles, equivalent of 300 neurotamine and steel, excluding the center tile on which the lamp stands.

Update 1.1 (16.4.25):
- Switched required Research to 'Drug Production'!
- Removed the left-over .kra texture files I accidentally left in
when originally making this mod, resulting in much less filesize!
Sincere apologies for taking this long to fix that... :c

Update 1.0.1 (25.12.22):
- Made the description a bit more refined.
- Added more details to the Workshop;
- Added an teaser image.

The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where "feed" and "seed" both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", implying that the two words beginning with "F" and "S" would have ended with "-uck", rhyming with "Chuck". So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Feeduck and Seeduck".

Greetings @LKFAdam!
The mod should still work fine, in fact all that would need to be done I assume is to change the version tag, which can be done extremely easy if you have RimPy or the sorts!
I admit that I could have just done that myself, but I kinda forgot I even made this mod, thank you for reminding me!
Technicly speaking, the mod is just two floors, which means it should be usable regardless of version! :fhappy:
