Pillowforts, the Fabric Felt Round the World

This adds a simple new reaction to the screw press, which lets you create felt cloth blocks from fabric.

Beware! If you want to use specific fabrics, you'll need to set up your screw press to take from stockpiles that only contain that fabric. Also, dyes do not currently persist into the blocks, so undyed cloth is recommended.

Inspired by the hard felt mats that are used in the construction of Mongolian yurts.

In the future, I could add a separate felt material that the blocks all turn into, regardless of provenance, or add actual pillows, depending on demand.

Q: Should I use dyed cloth?
A: No, dyes are washed out during the felting process.

Q: Help! How do I keep it from using my silk?
A: Set up a stockpile linked to the screw press that only accepts the cloth you want to use.

Q: Are there any incompatibilities?
A: I don't think there should be. At the moment it's a pretty non-invasive reaction mod.

Q: Why isn't it working?
A: This adds a reaction, so you will need to generate a new world with this mod enabled.

Q: This is a silly mod.
A: You are correct. If you want me to add to it, go ahead and comment, but it's mostly for fun.
