Description
This is my first attempt and shot at modelling a large building.

Model
Triangles 1274
Texture 2048x2048
Custom LOD - 185 Triangles

Kroger Marketplace are multi-department stores offering full-service grocery, pharmacy and expanded general merchandise including outdoor living products, electronics, home goods and toys. Marketplace stores opened during the last two years range in size from 100,000 to 130,000 square feet.

Based on geographic region within the US, these stores may be branded as Dillons Marketplace, Fry’s Marketplace, King Soopers Marketplace, Kroger Marketplace, Smith’s Marketplace


This model is loosely based on the Smith's Marketplace store located in Los Alamos, NM. The model has been branded the generic Kroger Marketplace so that it can fit in anywhere.


NOTE: I do not have time to be making models that everyone requests. Especially ones that I'm never going to use in my cities. If I happen to make them, it is because I feel they will be beneficial for use in my cities, and they may not necessarily be 1:1 copy of the original real-life model. I will take my creative liberties on them. Thanks everyone for your understanding

@jackskellington6_CS m Hello. I was able to shrink the components and keep the view size the same. my copy is rendering smoothly without any over sized triangles. file size came out to be almost 7mb's .. if you don't mind I will keep it to my self for now as I might like to try getting it to be a smaller file. AM already using in one of my cities and looks great. I do however have it saved in my own personal file. so I had saved and than unsubscribed as not to have two set's of it in my menu. If you like I will let you know and have mine later if I get it perfected.

@MOREOPTIONS I tried to optimize the sign a little more and brought the triangle count down to under 1200.

@MOREOPTIONS The high triangle count isn't from the building, but rather the signage. The left side of the building has 526 triangles and the right side has 549. The signage however has almost 2000.

I'm making assets that will fit into my city. I also based this store size on other RICO assets that are available on the workshop.

Kroger marketplace stores are usually larger than 100,000 square feet. This one looks like it's probably less than half that, or the size of a normal Kroger store. Also, I don't think I've ever seen a marketplace that looks like this does on the exterior.

I know we all have to start somewhere, but please try to keep this in mind if you decide to continue.
