@Flemish when i put this together it was before a lot of weapons got a name change. inferno used to be called Rifthaven Mk II Purgatus Force Staff, and is what its called here

@PreposterousFox i dont think it has any effect on distance, and only affects the amount of bullets necessary to suppress. i dont think its ever really something that should be taken as part of the focus for a "minmaxed" build, for having fun and providing "suppressive" fire for frontliners then sure, itll be nice on higher suppression weapons. the current suppression system just isnt great, and its a "all or nothing" system, you either suppress or you dont. no gradual decrease in enemy accuracy, or any other effect besides "is suppressed" and "is not suppressed".

Great data here, but I'm still a little confused. When is it worthwhile to take a talent like the Veteran's "Keep Their Heads Down!" that gives "+50% Ranged Attack Suppression"? Does it only affect the number of bullets necessary to suppress enemies, or can it also affect the distance at which you can suppress them?

Hey! This is very useful information. I have a Psyker guide that is focused on using guns. Do I have your permission to link this guide there? I feel like this could help people to gauge risks, especially when Psyker is very fragile to being counter - hit in ranged combat.

@Judge Lazar Yes, all ranged weapons have some intrinsic suppression. It is not very much though. You can test this by going into meatgrinder with something like the Kantrael MG XII Infantry Lasgun, which has 2.5 to 5 suppression value and shooting near elite Scab/Dreg gunners, it should take around 8 shots aimed directly beside them for them to do some type of suppressed actions. Either run away or cover their head. You can tell if a unit is being affected by a weapons suppression because the shots should cause their model to"flinch" a little
