Igor Raid Mechanics for All Storytellers brings the features of Vanilla Storytellers Expanded - Igor Invader to every storyteller across the Rim!


Igor Raid Mechanics brings the following features:
  • Damage multiplier, default 2x. User-adjustable from 0.10 to 5.00. Combat has never been so lethal or similar to tickling a rhino with a feather.
  • Minimum population for threats, default 1. User-adjustable from 0 to 99. You decide when you are ready for raids! Just watch that wealth.
  • Raid rewards! Successfully take out a threat? Choose what events can happen! Good, bad, it's your choice.
  • Raid reinforcements! Take a loss? Enemy reinforcements have arrived!
  • Raid warning, default off. User-adjustable raid warning from 1-24 hours.




Q: Is this mod complete?
A: Yep. Unless we find some squashable bugs.

Q: Save game compatible?
A: Yes, add it any time, adjust settings on the fly!

Q: Does this change the frequency of raids?
A: No, I wanted this mod because I loved the damage increase and raid enhancements from Igor Invader, but disliked the raid frequency. Play with any storyteller at any difficulty you want, and this mod will do it's duty in the background.

Q: Do I need to subscribe to and have Igor Invader active?
A: Nope! All the code to make Igor work is handled by Vanilla Framework Expanded, just load us after the framework and you're good to go.

@PurpleHaze The author purposefully removed that feature of the mod so Ill probably not add it back.

Still no story tellers expanded for 1.5 this will have to do :(
I love Igors raid frequency, there any chance you can add it in as a toggle?

has this been revisited/updated since? there definitely were problems with the raids they sent!

From my own gameplay experience, this mod does change some behavior of vanilla storytellers, but not really a screwup. It seems to give storyteller more time to accumulate raid points then send you a large wave, sometimes not for your level. I pick Kassandra and I ve seen a wave with 2 diabolus and a bunch of scythers in the 2nd year, I'm playing nomad without alot of wealth, no idea how it can be so.

Also the warning of X hours before raid doesn't seem to work against mechanoid cluster.

Well after some playing with it I have to say...
It does look like the raids are screwed up, very small and uncommon raids with default settings

unironically get less raids with this mod, i dont even know how that is possible

@handsomegrape I know this is old but if you are using randy he rolls between (iirc) 50% and 150% raid points (vanilla mechanic).
I hope this helps you or anyone
