Description
This is an upgraded version of my train caboose. It is meant to serve as a living space for workers on the train and a control center for the conductor to oversee the train from. It was built to use my personal train system micro-controller and work with my other train cars and locomotives. It has working lights, heaters, four beds, a medical bed, a weather warning system, map display, track switch system, a working radio, an emergency beacon locator, a distress beacon, and enough personal equipment for a fairly small crew. There are three completely sealed rooms with RGB lights and heaters for going to the arctic region. There are ladders on the front and back of the car allowing crew members to safely climb to the roof the train while the train is moving. The car also has my new system using electric motors to assist the locomotive with pulling the car and the train as a whole. Additionally the car has multiple solar panels on the roof to recharge the batteries and reduce the strain on the locomotive from all of the new electric motors equipped on my upgraded train cars.

There is now a switch in the conductor's compartment to invert the reverser for the caboose. This has no effect on the movement of the car, but it does switch the sides of the RGB navigation lights on the front as well as indicate that the train is moving in the opposite direction on the dial at the console.

The panels on the front of the car control the brakes and external control system. The first switch on the top panel sets the car to be controlled remotely from a connected vehicle. The second switch indicates if the controlling vehicle is in front of or behind the current car. The lever controls the brakes for the car or the entire train if it is set as the "Lead" vehicle. The bottom panel shows the current brake information being sent through to the brakes on the train.

The orange button to the left of the control panels activates the electric motors to assist the locomotive in moving the car and the train as a whole. These motors are connected to the axles on the car and are controlled simply by moving the car forward or backward on the rails. The directional velocity sends a fractional signal to the motors allowing the car to move as long as it has a charged battery.
