Description
Core Concept : This mod will be focused around an Engine harness and a Weapon harness both of which will accept batteries for their attached equipment. Do you want a ship that is combat ready with only 2 or 3 crew? Does 50 points seem like way too much? Does a swarm of lightweight ships flying in to assist the capitol ships appeal to you?

This is the right place for you then.

Tools designed to allow you to create that squad of fighters you never knew you needed.

Cockpit - Fighter : 25 Command Points. 1x2 Half Cost
Reactor - Fighter : Half Cost Half Battery 1x2 Reactor. Provides Single/Double/Triple batteries
1x2 Storage
PointGun - Unmanned Light Laser Alternative. Similar DPS and Range.
FighterHarness (1x3)(1x2)(1x1) - Lesser Buffed Engine room whose main benefit is the unified battery dropoff location easing strain on a small crew.
ShieldGenFighter - (1x3) 10,000hp Shield (It's red on purpose). Smaller Efficient 3 battery Shield for easy reboot. Has a smaller radius than the Small
Crew Quarters Doublebunk(6) - (1x4) 6 Crew vanilla style bunk
HyperdriveTiny - 1x1 Hyperdrive tuned to handle very small craft.

Roadmap
1 - Weapon Harness : Similar to the engine room a unified battery location for energy weapons
2 - 1x2 2Way Thruster : Standard Thruster with a built in transversal thruster built into it
3 - A Seriously cool freaking weapon idea "Laser Battering Ram for the front of your Ship" Ever want to drive through a spacestation?
4 - Micro Rockets
5 - Something I am not sure is possible so I am not shooting my mouth off "A shield Generator Tied to a Turret so the shield would always face your enemy"
6 - Something Hard I might not be smart enough to do "Yet Another Laser Railgun Alternative" I am thinking of making a system that takes a large amount of power to shoot and fires a penetrating Laser Round. Core Idea is for it to have a "HIGH" power drain[Read it loses power WHILE you are charging it] so it will take a certain amount of crew desperately jamming triple batteries in to it to breach the firing threshold. [This will make it so you cant have a preloaded round in it always ready to fire]. I will also have massive recoil so that if you fire it from a smaller ship it will send you spinning into space. Sounds like fun to me

I added the details of the ideas so that if another modder happens to see it and knows they are impossible I wont waste my time.

Roadmap aside the gear will eventually be in it's own category and the Harness' will only supply power buffs to their associated equipment. There will be research for them

1,2,3 Sized Batteries but it only holds 4 rather than 8. so you operate off of regen mainly

ok most of the Graphics are working now. I know I need to fix a few more. The 1x2 is "Working" but does not show the side flame so I am going to come at it from a different direction. I am deciding if I want to make a Universal Harness instead but that feels like it would be a bit much

Once I have it working the way I want I will clean up the graphics. I am not an artist so I will save that for last.

I looked at the other guys mod. His looks very powerful. Mine is meant to be vanilla-ish flavor. I could be wrong. Nothing I am doing has a direct bigger vanilla equivalent. I am not just shrinking things down and keeping them the same power of stronger.

I am designing mine to be options. The idea is making it possible to run a ship with a much smaller crew or add some flavor to existing small fightercraft. The main key is the cheaper reactor and cockpit. Fielding more simple craft with less crew per

Probably exactly the same. Right now it looks like crap with stretched images. I am getting the functions working first but I will put something together

And I'm also wondering how this differs much from the previous Fighters&Components mod of similar style ?
