Description
Many times when the degenerates of Europa attempt to raid a settlement, it's a Cardeal that puts them in their place. This vessel excels at maintaining fire from above as well as pursuing the heathens back to where they came from.

This submarine is suitable for sub-on-sub violence, oh, and campaigns.

Details
  • Tier 2 sub; 15,000 mk
  • 1 Railgun, 1 Chaingun, 1 Coilgun, 1 Hardpoint
  • 1 Depth charge launcher
  • 8 crate capacity

  • Max horizontal velocity: 23km/h
  • Max vertical velocity: 15km/h
  • 2 Internal ballasts
  • NBL: ~0.45

  • Reactor max output: 5000
  • Fuel consumption rate: 0.2

  • Additional docking hatch in the bottom center.

The battery system
Inspired by, 'Wyvern', built by Doge the biologist

  • Max capacity: 6000
  • Max output: 4000
  • Max recharge speed: 4000

Above the reactor, you will find the electrical compartment. Here you will find the submarine's power buffer system with a control terminal and text display.

Power flows through the batteries before it touches the main power grid.

In the terminal, you will be able to adjust the charging rate of the batteries simultaneously. It will also constantly update showing you the combined charging rate.
NOTE: Both batteries can still be interacted with each other, independently of each other. I recommend sometimes interacting with the batteries themselves to get a more accurate assessment of their functioning.

WARNING!!! Regarding Hazardous reactors

If you're already insane enough to run Hazardous reactors with bots, just know when you load into this sub, bots are prone to removing the excess rod from the reactor. You know what happens when they do that.

Just updated your changes. I really appreciate the attempt either way. Very kind. Thanks for your ship contributions! The Cardeal slaps.

I'm able to adjust the hulls a little bit, but I'm not sure if this will fix your issue. It confuses me since that room is all just one hull, so I don't see any reason for why the water would linger like that.

Sorry, here is a screenshot, might be hard to see and I hope the link works. Not sure if this was a once in a lifetime bug but ye. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3162623105

@[FD] Tomatohead Do you think you can try explaining further? I tried testing by flooding the room you're talking about, but I didn't see anything that I could call "water sticking to wall like glue". If I can fix it I will, I just don't know what's going on.

Love your work, small bug I've noticed is on the right of electrical Engineer pressed against the left wall of the left Ballast tank water as a tendency to get stuck and stick like glue. It doesn't effect game play but it is a little immersion ruining. If you want and have the time i'd be awesome to get a fix. Fuck with your ships hard either way. Have a wonderful day.

Usually a submarine has two air locks.

Can you replace the additional docking hatch with air lock?

Oh that's neat

@Doge the bioligist , Thanks dude. The inner decor and battery system are heavily inspired by your Wyvern. I've been playing campaigning on it and it's great fucking sub. It's fun, interesting and makes sense.
